Mixed Green Vegetable Recipe

SouthBeach Recipe Food Ingredients:

150g torn curly endive
150g loosely packed watercress leaves
150g torn fresh spinach
150g torn red leaf cabbage
75g sliced water chestnuts
1 red pepper, sliced into strips
350g crabmeat, fresh or canned
Joe's Mustard Sauce

SouthBeach Recipe Cooking Method:

Combine the vegetables in a large bowl.  Toss well.  Add the crabmeat.  Divide onto 4 serving plates, drizzle Joe's Mustard Sauce on top.

Joe's Mustard Sauce
(Serves 14)

1 tablespoon + 1/2 teaspoon Colman's dry mustard, or more to taste
225g mayonnaise
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon steak sauce e.g. HP Sauce
1 tablespoon double cream
1 tablespoon milk
Salt

 

SouthBeach Recipe Cooking Method:

Place the mustard in a mixing bowl.  Add the mayonnaise and beat for 1 minute.  Add the Worcestershire sauce, steak sauce, cream, milk and a pinch of salt and beat until the mixture is well-blended and creamy.  Chill the sauce, covered, until serving.
